Last weekend, I got a little taste of Raleigh, North Carolina! There’s a boutique called Gypse Jule located right in Raleigh’s downtown area. This boutique was getting ready for a photo shoot to advertise their new spring season shipment. The photo shoot was located at a restaurant right around the corner from the boutique called Babylon which has the most vibrant and relaxing decor I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. It was a pleasure styling these models and being on the set of the photo shoot. Take a look at my work!
For the first model, Agee, I stuck with neutral colors and decided to accentuate her olive skin tone. Red blush, dark brown eye liner, and MAC’s Impassionet lip stick was all she needed. I used a curling iron to set a few beach-looking waves at the top of her hair…and she was DONE!
For the next model, Addie, I applied more golden colors to make her beautiful blue eyes pop. I mixed gold and bronze colors for eyeshadow and lined it with sparkly gold eye liner just at the corners of her eyes. Her lips stayed neutral; it was very important to draw attention to her eyes. Lastly, after making to two braids at the side of her hair, I pinned them to the back of her hair making sure there was nothing blocking her face.
Overall, I had an amazing time helping to style this photo shoot and cannot wait to do more in the future! To learn more about Gypse Jule visit their facebook website at the link below!

This summer season, I am interning at a fair trade clothing line called Symbology that fuses Indian textiles with high-end fashion. I have had nothing but amazing experiences so far to say the least. This past week, Symbology was featured in Redii Raleigh’s fashion launch show, which is a non-profit organization that launches local private designers and their clothing lines. Awesome, right?
My boss asked me to model for one out of the three looks she was presenting at the event. I wore the Peak-a-boo Paisley cocktail dress! This piece was the ultimate show stopper!!
Currently, Symbology is hosting an Indiegogo campaign to raise money in order to build our capital so that we will be able to bring these wonderful clothing items to the market. We need your help! Help us make fair trade sexy by clicking on the link below and learn more about our cause!

“It feels good to be sent some good stuff — I love to act and I love to challenge myself and all these scripts are very different. I’m getting offered a lot of porn these days which is fantastic.”
